The 2016-2017 Student Guidebook is now available online<http://www.nl.edu/studentservices/studentguidebook/>.<http://www.nl.edu/studentservices/studentguidebook/> Please note that many of the policies have been modified or updated this year, including significant additions or changes to the following policies:

  *   Substance Use/Abuse
  *   Dependents and Visitors on Campus
     *   Please note: this campus is inclusive of all guests or children that are brought onto campus. It is not acceptable for a student to bring a visitor, including their child(ren) to a class or learning activity (such as the library, lab, etc.) If a student is meeting an advisor or professor on campus for an individual meeting and they bring a visitor or child(ren) with them, the staff/faculty member must escort the student on campus to ensure that learning spaces are not disrupted.
  *   Comprehensive Sexual Misconduct and Relationship Violence Policy
  *   Student Conduct

As a reminder, the Student Guidebook continues to hold all University policies and expectations, where the Student Planner now includes the weekly calendar along with an overview of student life, resources and student services. The Student Planner is available on campus for student's to pick up.

The Student Guidebook is available online<http://www.nl.edu/studentservices/studentguidebook/>.<http://www.nl.edu/studentservices/studentguidebook/> Students may request a printed copy of the Student Guidebook at the front counter at each campus if they desire a printed copy of the policies. Faculty and University staff seeking a printed copy of the Student Guidebook may request them through the distribution center.

Please take a few minutes to review the updated policies so that you are knowledgeable of all changes and are aware of the changes that may impact reporting of incidents on campus.
