AA#2015-36 MAT SEC Reentry Candidates
DECISION: Revision of AA 2015-12, M.A.T. in Secondary Education, Traditional Program (not RTP), to allow candidates who have received their Professional Education License (PEL) to complete the M.A.T. degree with 32 semester hours.

RATIONALE:  The M.A.T. Secondary Education program (SEC) revision is prompted by the university's mission of providing the highest quality experience based on research and an application of best practices in real-life contexts. New requirements by the State of Illinois regarding licensure have guided and assisted us in our planning.
