Dear NLU Community:

This month, join the Office of Student Experience in creating mats to benefit the homeless. We will be using a technique that turns plastic bags into beneficial mats that protect homeless individuals from the cold and/or wet ground.

Help us help the homeless on the following days:

  *   Wheeling campus: Feb 20 from Noon-1:000PM and from 4:00-5:00PM
  *   Lisle campus: Feb 22 from 4:00-5:00PM
  *   Chicago campus: Feb 27 from Noon-1:000PM and 4:00-5:00PM

Plastic bag donations will be needed to make this project successful! Please drop off plastic bags at the front desks on the Wheeling, Lisle, and Chicago campuses to be used to create the mats.

Completed mats will be donated to a Chicago area homeless shelter.
