Become a Safe Zone Ally!


NLU is offering FREE Safe Zone Ally training to faculty, staff and students.

Wednesday, October 7th from 2-4pm on the Chicago Campus, Rm 4012/4014

What's an Ally? A Safe Zone Ally fosters an atmosphere of support and celebration of LGBTQ individuals. Allies take the pledge to be understanding, non-judgmental and willing to provide acceptance regardless of sexuality, gender identity/expression or other differences.

If this sounds like you, please RSVP to Amanda DaSilva at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by Monday, 10/5/14 to reserve your seat at the training!

The training will provide attendees with all the necessary information to earn your Safe Zone Trained Ally placard to display for the NLU community. Allies who have attended previous Safe Zone trainings do not need to attend training more than once.
