Celebrate Black History Month
AFRICAN AMERICAN LITERATURE LECTURE
NLU's BA in Applied Communications program invites you to a lecture by author Tony Lindsay who will share his experiences as an author and discusses African American Literature.
Thursday, February 16

Lindsay's novels include One Dead Preacher, Street Possession, Chasin' It, Urban Affair, One Dead Lawyer, More Boy Than Girl, and a short story collection titled Pieces of the Hole. His most recent collection, Acorns in a Skillet, is a collection of short stories that grew out of America's complex racial interactions. He has published book critiques and reviews for Black Issues Book Review and submits to the African American literary website TimBookTu.com<http://timbooktu.com/>. A native Chicagoan, he has a BS from the University of Illinois Chicago and an MFA from Chicago State University.
