The following academic alert has been posted. Please read for details.
Academic Alert:
AA-2015-32 Revised M.Ed. in Urban Teaching
RATIONALE: The M.Ed. degree program in Urban Teaching has been offered by the National College of Education since 2010 exclusively in partnership with the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) in Chicago. Since the program was originally designed for settings beyond AUSL, this Academic Alert presents a revised NLU Catalog description of the program and revised admissions criteria for inclusivity of applicants beyond Illinois. This curriculum revision broadens the applicability of the program to include early career teachers who are working in high-need schools in urban, suburban, and rural settings.
