AA#2015-13 Revised M.A.T. Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program

RATIONALE: The M.A.T. Early Childhood Education (ECE) program was revised to better meet the needs of young children from birth through age eight. The major reason for the program revisions includes: an increased demand on high-quality teacher preparation, especially in the areas related to child assessment, early literacy, teaching methodologies and their impact, diversification of children and family backgrounds, and meeting the multicultural education needs of young learners.
